Hello and Welcome to Celebrations by Julia! I’m Julia, lead Designer, Planner, and Coordinator at Celebrations by Julia.

As a self-proclaimed "Type A hopeless romantic," I turned my childhood hobby of reading Brides Magazine into a full-blown career! With nearly 7 years of wedding design and planning under her belt, I have executed weddings everywhere from San Francisco to New York City.

With an academic background in Communication & Psychology, I’ve developed a unique skillset of guiding couples gracefully through the extensive process that is wedding planning. Trained by Amanda Holder, a 4 time recipient of California Wedding Day's Best Wedding Planner award, I began her wedding career in San Luis Obispo in 2018. In 2021, I moved to New York City in where I worked at Kleinfeld Bridal (home of the TV show, "Say Yes To The Dress") and as an Event Manager for a premier event venue, Brooklyn Winery. Now back in my home state of California, I’m eager to immerse herself in the thriving wedding industry of San Diego & Southern California as a whole.

I will keep your happiness top of mind throughout the planning process, which includes both families! I am a firm believer that no one should feel like they have to work their own wedding (that means you, Mom!). Beyond guest experience, I am known for facilitating a collaborative, enthusiastic environment amongst all your vendors, too. Described as "your wedding day fairy godmother, spirit guide, and smiling drill sergeant all rolled into one," you want me on your vendor team! ;)

The motto at Celebrations By Julia is “Celebrating Love” and I believe that everyone has a right to celebrate their love. I LOVE love and I would be absolutely honored to be a part of your special day!
